Welcome to the Spanish III wiki. By the end of the first semester, you will be able to do everything you did last year, and be able to make suggestions, express doubt, command people to do things, as well as hold conversations about the past, talk about likes and dislikes, discuss common activities.
Risk is the major factor in Spanish III. You will be required to step out of your comfort zone and talk about things even if you don't feel like you have a grasp on where the discussion is going. This is because you will begin to formulate ideas to communicate, rather than just spitting out sentences that you may have memorized. This class does not have homework as often as last year. The homework is not necessarily more difficult than it was last year, in Spanish II, but it will be more open-ended and will require you to apply what you have learned, not just be able to regurgitate material. We will build on what you already have learned, so it is IMPERATIVE that you attend class every day. Is is INCREDIBLY IMPORTANT that you study! If you miss a class period or feel like you are falling behind, please come in before or after school to get the make up material or review with me. If you attend class, participate, study, and do your homework, you will do well in Spanish III.
